2. Cookies We Use

None. As of October 13, 2026, thebestaichatwidget.com does not set any cookies. Not essential ones, not analytics, not advertising. We do not run Google Analytics or any third-party tracking script on this site.

The chat widget on this site keeps two small notes in your browser's tab storage (called session storage), not in cookies: a random ID that keeps your conversation together, and whether you closed the chat. Both are erased when you close the tab, and neither is shared with anyone.

When you click "Got it" on the cookie notice, the site stores that in your browser's local storage so the notice does not show again. That is also not a cookie, and it never leaves your browser.

The notice itself is built with iQCookie, our own cookie-consent tool. If we ever add cookies or analytics to this site, the notice will become a real consent banner and you will be asked before anything is set.

3. Cookies on Customer Websites

When a business installs the chat widget on their own website, the widget does not set cookies. It keeps the visitor's conversation ID in the browser's tab storage (session storage), which is erased when the tab closes. This is necessary for the widget to function and is covered under the business's own cookie policy, alongside ours.

4. Your Choices

There are no cookies on this site to block or delete. Most browsers let you clear site storage through their settings; clearing it ends the current chat conversation and brings the cookie notice back.
